1. Don’t use spam trigger words
Too many spam trigger words in your emails can land them in spam. It’s best to use simple, direct language with the goal of providing value.
2. Don’t use complex HTML
Broken code or an imbalance between HTML elements and text can trigger spam filters.
3. Don’t use fancy signatures
The links, images, and code in fancy signatures put your emails at risk and could land them in spam. It’s best to keep it simple!
4. Don’t use ALL CAPS in your subject line
Capital letters make your emails look like spam and can trigger spam filters.
5. Don’t use attachments
Files attached to emails are known to carry viruses. This can land your emails in spam. If you need to send a file, just use links (e.g., Google Drive).
